The agreement behind the service.

By creating an account or using Flock, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a school, district, or organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind that organization. Flock is operated by Flock Safety Operations, Inc.

Flock is provided to organizations for use with the students in their care. It is not directed to children for independent sign-up. Each organization decides who on its staff may access the service and in what role — trip leader, nurse, chaperone, or admin.

• —Keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in details private. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
• —Role-based access. Access is scoped by role and by trip. You may only use the information you are given to do your part of a trip — not to access students or records outside your assignment.
• —Accurate information. Organizations are responsible for the accuracy of the roster, medical, and contact information they enter.

You agree not to:

• —Misuse the data. Access, export, or share student or medical information for any purpose other than running the trip it belongs to.
• —Disrupt the service. Probe, scan, overload, or attempt to breach the service or its security controls.
• —Circumvent access rules. Share accounts, defeat role scoping, or attempt to view records you are not assigned to.
• —Break the law. Use Flock in violation of applicable law or the policies of the organization that invited you.

The organization owns the data it puts into Flock, including rosters and student records. Flock processes that data only to provide the service and only under the organization's direction, as described in our privacy policy. For student education records, our processing is governed by our Data Processing Agreement. We do not sell personal information or use student data for advertising.

Paid plans are billed as set out on the pricing page or in your order form. Flock is priced per student-trip-day, with no per-seat charge for staff. Fees are due as agreed; organization billing is handled by our payments processor, and Flock stores invoice and subscription status rather than full card numbers.

We work to keep Flock available and reliable, and we publish current service health on our status page. We may perform maintenance and update the service over time. Critical safety features are built to degrade gracefully, but Flock is a tool that supports your staff — it does not replace their judgment, supervision, or your emergency procedures.

Either party may end the relationship as described in the applicable order form, or — for self-serve accounts — at any time from within the app. When an organization ends its relationship with Flock, we delete or return its data on request, subject to any retention the law requires. We may suspend access to protect the service or the people in it if these terms are seriously breached.

Flock is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited as set out in the signed agreement with your organization. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify organizations directly. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
